Senator IAN MACDONALD —Under the same standing order, again—

Senator Collins —How many bites of the cherry? You have done it once already.

Senator IAN MACDONALD —I will not impose on the Senate to spend any time on this, but I wish to make a brief personal explanation as I claim to have been misquoted or misunderstood.

The ACTING DEPUTY PRESIDENT —The honourable senator may proceed.

Senator IAN MACDONALD —Senator Collins argued that we were promoting a Fightback policy which had certain repercussions. I simply want to say that Senator Collins is on this point, as with most things, quite wrong. I will debate what Fightback actually said with him at a more appropriate time.

Senator Collins —I table the extract from the Fightback policy document that confirms what I have said.
