Senator PANIZZA —by leave—I am happy to take up the suggestion of Senator Harradine. I cannot move to adjourn the debate, but I am happy to leave it until, say, the first day of sitting next year to see what the House of Representatives committee has done. I am quite happy to do that to keep the debate alive and to come back to it on the first day of sitting next year. I cannot move the adjournment but I am sure the government can.


Senator Faulkner —On a point of order: I believe that Senator Panizza has closed the debate by his contribution.
