Senator Colston asked the Minister representing the Minister for Communications, upon notice, on 13 August 1993:

  (1) Which post offices and post office agencies in South Australia and the Northern Territory have opened since 1 July 1991 and on what date did each office or agency commence operations.

  (2) Which post offices and post office agencies in South Australia and the Northern Territory have permanently closed since 1 July 1991 and when did each closure occur.

  (3) (a) Which post offices and post office agencies in South Australia and the Northern Territory have been renamed since 1 July 1991; (b) what were their original names; (c) when was each office renamed; and (d) what are the new names.
