Senator Colston asked the Minister representing the Minister for Communications, upon notice, on 13 August 1993:

  (1) Which post offices and post office agencies in Queensland have opened since 1 July 1991 and on what date did each office or agency commence operations.

  (2) Which post offices and post office agencies in Queensland have permanently closed since 1 July 1991 and when did each closure occur.

  (3) (a) Which post offices and post office agencies in Queensland have been renamed since 1 July 1991; (b) what were their original names; (c) when was each office renamed; and (d) what are the new names.
