Senator IAN MACDONALD —I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move:

  That the Senate—

  (a)notes that the NSW Chamber of Manufactures State Bank Industrial Survey has found that the outlook is gloomy for the unemployed, and that another 35 000 jobs could be lost over the next year; and

  (b)calls on the Australian Labor Party to concentrate on addressing the real problems facing Australia and not on diversions.
