Senator Campbell asked the Minister for the Arts and Administrative Services, upon notice, on 6 August 1993:

  With reference to page 83 of the Department of Administrative Services 1991-92 annual report in which it states that `Comcar employed 30 additional women during the past year':

  (1) Please provide a breakdown indicating in which disciplines these women were employed.

  (2) Please provide a breakdown indicating in which States and territories these women were employed.

  (3) How does the number of additional women employed relate to the total number of new people employed in the 1991-92 financial year.


Senator McMullan —I have been advised that the answer to the honourable senator's question is as follows:

  (1) All the women employed were casual drivers.

  (2)-(3) The breakdown of these women and the total number of new employees was:
