Senator GARETH EVANS (Minister for Foreign Affairs) (11.54 a.m.) —How many unanswered questions does Senator Panizza think there are? There is this one and also the ATSIC ones we spoke of last night, and we need to come back to those. But what else is troubling Senator Panizza?

Senator Panizza —There are no others. There is the one that the Minister has been talking to Senator O'Chee about, and the ones on ATSIC.

Senator GARETH EVANS —I understand that. We will do our best to get responses to those opposite and postpone it accordingly by consent.

  Question resolved in the affirmative.

Motion (by Senator Gareth Evans) proposed:

The CHAIRMAN —The first department to be considered is the Department of Defence. The first matter on the running sheet is all questions taken on notice.
