Senator CRANE —I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move:

  That the Senate—

  (a)notes the comments by the Executive Director of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Mr Spicer), as reported in the Australian, that removing sections 45D and 45E from the Trade Practices Act 1974 would damage the foreign and domestic investment which is crucial to economic recovery; and

  (b)recognises that sections 45D and 45E of the Trade Practices Act 1974 protect individuals and enterprises against secondary boycotts with regard to the movement of goods and services.
