Senator LEWIS —My question is directed to the Minister representing the Prime Minister. Last Friday marked the end of the three-month deadline set by the Minister for Transport and Communications for the industry parties to achieve in-principle agreement on waterfront reform. Has such agreement been reached? If not, what alternative measures is the Government pursuing in line with Mr Willis's undertaking to the Parliament of 1 June? How much longer will we have to wait before the implementation of even the Government's inadequate reform proposals on the waterfront takes place?

Senator BUTTON —I do not know the answer to that question, but I will find out and provide the honourable senator with an answer as soon as I can.
