Senator COULTER(9.21) —I will not seek to delay the Senate if the Government has indicated that it is prepared to accept the Opposition's amendment. Senator Peter Baume's argument that the Minister for Aboriginal Affairs had in the past given a direction which had had rather catastrophic consequences-a conclusion with which I totally agree-is not quite relevant to this case because the amendment Senator Baume seeks to insert is a general direction specifically with respect to the corporate plan, and the direction which was given was not with respect to a corporate plan. I will not seek to prolong the debate any further.

Amendment agreed to.
