Senator GARETH EVANS —Mr President, in the course of my answer today to Senator Macklin on aid programming, I did not disagree with an assertion he made along the way that there was nothing budgeted for the International Fund for Agricultural Development this financial year, 1989-90. In fact, as I should have recalled, $1m has been budgeted to cover our existing replenishment obligations, and I should have mentioned that. The question in issue remains, however, whether Australia will participate in the third replenishment, which is due to take place and which will require a further payment from us in 1993-94, and that is the matter that is still under review.
