Senator BUTTON (Leader of the Government in the Senate) —by leave-I inform the Senate that the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Senator Gareth Evans, is leaving Australia today on official Government business overseas. He will be absent from Question Time for the remainder of this period of sittings. During his absence, Senator Evans will be involved in bilateral discussions in India, will lead the Australian delegation to the Geneva International Conference on Indo-Chinese Refugees, and will also join the delegation of the Prime Minister (Mr Hawke) to the Australia-United Kingdom Investment Conference in London. Any questions in relation to Senator Evans's portfolio, or those he represents, should be directed to Senator Walsh.
