Senator BOLKUS (Minister for Consumer Affairs)(8.43) —Amendment No. 37, as Senator Alston says, would remove an option for services to be taken as not complying with class licences even though no declaration has been issued. The Government sees the removal of this subclause as limiting Austel's range of actions to deal in a timely manner with services not complying with the appropriate class licensing system. As a consequence, of the effect of the amendment, we oppose it.
