GOVERNOR-GENERAL'S PROCLAMATIONS-COMMENCEMENT OF PROVISIONS OF ACTS: Proclamations by His Excellency the Governor-General were tabled, notifying that His Excellency had proclaimed the following provisions of Acts to come into operation on the dates specified:

A.C.T. Self-Government (Consequential Provisions) Act 1988

(a) sections 5, 7, 9, 10, 12 to 30 (inclusive) and section 32 so far as it relates to the amendments of the Acts specified in Schedule 5 of the Act, other than the amendments of the provisions or Acts specified in the Schedule to the Proclamation and;

(b) the amendments made by Schedule 5 of the Act, other than the amendments of the provisions or Acts specified in the Schedule to the Proclamation-11 May 1989 (Gazette No. S 164, 10 May 1989).
