To the Honourable the President and members of the Senate in Parliament assembled. The petition of the undersigned citizens of Australia respectfully showeth:

That the Australian Bill of Rights Bill is a harmful, dangerous and divisive proposal, the provisions of which are authoritarian and anti-democratic.

Your petitioners therefore pray:

That the Senate rejects this Bill.

And your petitioners as in duty bound will every pray.
