Senator MACKLIN(5.03) —I indicate that the Australian Democrats support the various amendments moved by the Opposition, which arise out of the Scrutiny of Bills Committee report. I point out that all honourable senators have had access to that report since it was presented to Parliament. I think it is slightly unfair for the Minister to suggest that he did not have access to it. Senator Lewis was trying to speed up the debate by incorporating the report. He could have read the report into the Hansard and had a debate about it, but I hope it is accepted that everyone has had access to it.
