Senator VIGOR(6.18) —On 22 April this year I placed on notice question No. 240 relating to trips to the Cocos (Keeling), Christmas and Norfolk islands by departmental officers and other people. Some information appeared in the back of volume 2 of the O'Donovan report of the Inquiry into the Community Housing Expansion Program in the Australian Capital Territory, which was a rather strange place to find it. I raised the matter again in the Estimates Committee meeting. I pointed out that the question was fairly straight forward and that I did not really want details down to the last cent. Despite the passage of an extra two months, the Senate still has no further information on this matter. Can the Minister guarantee that all the records are intact? When are we likely to get the answer, and what has been the hold-up over the last two months?
