Senator PUPLICK(4.26) —There are two other matters I would like to raise concerning the ABC's estimates. The first is whether the Corporation prepared a document entitled `The Human Resources Development Plan' and whether the ABC's staff unions were promised in February of this year that they would be given this plan to assist them in understanding the processes of staff rationalisation within the ABC and that no such plan in fact has been given to them? Secondly, could I be supplied with information as to how many persons took advantage of the redundancy arrangements which were offered within the ABC? What were the savings resulting from those people taking advantage of the redundancy arrangements? Is it correct that the money saved by the reduction in numbers of staff has been exceeded by the additional salaries which have had to be paid in overtime to compensate for the necessary extra work among those members of staff who have remained with the ABC?
