To the Honourable the President and members of the Senate in Parliament assembled.

The petition of the undersigned Australian citizens respectfully showeth:

That human embryos deserve legal protection to enable the development of their full human potential.

Your petitioners humbly pray that the Senate pass Senator Harradine's Bill to prohibit experiments involving the use of human embryos.

And your petitioners as in duty bound will ever pray.
