Senator Colston asked the Minister representing the Minister for Social Security, upon notice, on 19 September 1985:

(1) Was the `covering unsigned note' referred to in answer to Senate Question on Notice No. 411 (see Hansard, 12 September 1985, p. 512) written or typed on plain paper or paper with a letterhead.

(2) Was the note written or typed.

(3) If the note was on letterhead paper, what was that letterhead.

(4) How many names were forwarded and was that list written or typed.


Senator Grimes —The Minister for Social Security has provided the following answer to the honourable senator's question:

(1) to (3) The covering unsigned note was handwritten on plain paper, without a letterhead.

(4) The list of 98 names was typed and on plain paper without a letterhead.
