Senator Colston asked the Minister representing the Minister for Communications, upon notice, on 20 August 1985:

(1) Which post offices have opened in Western Australia since 3 May 1983 and on what date did each office commence operations.

(2) Which post offices have permanently closed in Western Australia since 3 May 1983 and when did each closure occur.

(3) Which post offices in Western Australia have been renamed since 3 May 1983; what were their original names; when was each office renamed; and what are the new names.
