Senator CRICHTON-BROWNE —My question is directed to the Minister representing the Minister for Trade. It follows his response to Senator Richardson, all of which I did not hear. I remind the Minister of the size of our wheat sales to Egypt, which is our single largest market. In 1983-84 our sales were valued at $303m, and in 1984-85 $411m-and in that year involved slightly over two million tonnes. In light of the number of major wheat producers in the world seeking to court Egypt as a major buyer from them, can the Minister say whether the Australian Wheat Board has one full time representative in Cairo?

Senator BUTTON —No, I cannot tell Senator Crichton-Browne that. I will find out.

Senator CRICHTON-BROWNE —As a supplementary question, I ask Senator Button whether he would be surprised to learn that there are none.

Senator BUTTON —I withdraw my previous answer. I will not find out.
