Senator SCOTT (Leader of the National Party of Australia)(9.57) -It appears to me that there is some confusion about the use of the word 'apple' . If, as the Minister for Resources and Energy (Senator Walsh) says, the industry is satisfied that the Bills cover all the appropriate areas and the appropriate fruit involved, I think it is satisfactory that it should remain that way. Consequently I see no need to support an amendment which is perhaps in conflict with a view of the industry. We supported the Bills because, as I understand it, the industry supported them. That is how the position remains.
