Senator SCOTT (Leader of the National Party of Australia)(8.38) -by leave-I address myself to the Canned and Frozen Vegetables (Export Inspection Charge) Bill, the Canned and Frozen Vegetables (Export Inspection Charge) Collection Bill, the Honey (Export Inspection Charge) Bill, the Honey ( Export Inspection Charge) Collection Bill, the Apple and Pear Levy Amendment Bill and the Dried Fruits Levy Amendment Bill. Madam Deputy President, I should indicate to you that the Opposition intends to move an amendment to the motion for the second reading of four of the Bills and asks that consideration of these Bills be divided, with the Apple and Pear Levy Amendment Bill 1984 and the Dried Fruits Levy Amendment Bill 1984 being considered separately from the other four Bills. I have spoken to the Minister and he has agreed that that would be satisfactory.

The ACTING DEPUTY PRESIDENT (Senator Haines) —Thank you, Senator Scott. Is it the wish of the Senate that the questions be divided and that the question regarding the second reading of the first four Bills be first determined, followed by the question that the remaining two Bills be read a second time? There being no objection, it is so ordered.
