Senator MACKLIN(5.58) —Briefly on this point, as Senator Missen said, the report of the Senate Standing Committee for the Scrutiny of Bills was unavailable. This is regrettable because the last time we met there was much eulogy for the Scrutiny of Bills Committee reports and how useful they were for legislation. If honourable senators do not have them available when they are considering legislation in their party rooms, they are not able to make use of them at this stage of the legislation. Wherever the problem arose I hope that in future we will be able to solve it and make sure--

Senator MACKLIN —Senator Missen assures me that it was only a printing problem and therefore one hopes that it may not occur again.
