Senator BJELKE-PETERSEN -I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move:

That the Senate-

(a) condemns the Federal Government for reneging on its pre-election promise to reduce the price of petrol for Australian motorists;

(b) deplores the action of the Labor Government in not allocating the increased revenue raised through the indexed excise tax on petrol to the bicentennial roads program; and

(c) regrets that this Government is deliberately misleading the Australian people by not allocating all moneys raised from the indexed excise to the construction and maintenance of the Australian road network.
