Senator LEWIS —I ask the Attorney-General whether, during his discussions with the judge referred to in the Age tapes, the judge made any admissions or provided any relevant information which the Attorney-General thought should be referred to the Special Prosecutor and/or the Joint Police Task Force as being of assistance to them in their investigations of material in the tapes and transcripts? If so, what was the nature of any such admission, and when did the Attorney-General refer it to the investigating team?

Senator GARETH EVANS —The answer to the first part of the question is no. The remaining parts are not applicable.
