Senator WALTERS(3.46) —The Minister for Education and Youth Affairs and Minister Assisting the Prime Minister on the Status of Women (Senator Ryan) asked me what were the questions that I had asked. I asked about the number of signatures that came into the House of Representatives and the Senate either against the Sex Discrimination Bill, asking for amendments, or against the United Nations Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women; as well as the number of amendments that the Government has proposed since the Bill was introduced.
