Senator CRICHTON-BROWNE(10.29) —Senator Ryan, the Minister, very adequately has expressed a set of words which shows a way around the proposition I put. So that I thoroughly understand will she answer yes or no whether it is an offence for a prospective employer to ask a woman whether she is married or then whether it is her intention to have a family in the immediate future with the knowledge that, if the answer is yes, the employer will not put her on because she will not be able to fulfil the term of contract which is necessary under the circumstances. I understand what the Minister said. She talked about--


Senator Harradine —We are not on that clause.


Senator CRICHTON-BROWNE —Yes, we are. Senator Ryan knows we are speaking to the right clause.
