Senator GRIMES —In connection with Paper No. 21, the Commonwealth Tertiary Education Commission supplementary report on participation initiatives in higher education, I seek leave to have the statement incorporated in Hansard.

Leave not granted.

Senator GRIMES —As leave is not granted and as this is a statement by a Minister , I assume the best thing to do would be to have that statement made at the time of ministerial statements. I merely remind the chamber that those honourable senators opposite who come to me and others in the Government asking to ensure that the Senate will adjourn this week are not helped by the behaviour of the shadow Minister in refusing leave in that regard.

Senator Peter Baume —Mr President, we will gladly give leave to incorporate-

The PRESIDENT —Order! Leave is not granted. It is up to the Government whether the document will be tendered in the course of ministerial statements.
