Senator WALTERS —by leave-Mr President--

Senator Robertson —Did you note that, Leader of the Opposition? We did not refuse leave.

Senator WALTERS —Senator Robertson is taking up my very short time. Senator Button has not addressed himself to Senator Harradine's main concern. Could he address that, in all seriousness? The Sex Discrimination Bill is not needed to be passed by the Government this session because it cannot be passed by the whole of the Parliament. If we postpone debate on that Bill it would give us more time to get through more Government legislation which the Government needs to be passed.

The PRESIDENT —Order! Senator Button has sought leave to withdraw his motion. Leave was granted.
