To the Honourable the President and members of the Senate in Parliament assembled. The humble petition of the undersigned citizens respectfully showeth:

That the Commonwealth Sex Discrimination Bill 1983 could be used to support the provision by the Commonwealth Government of funding, counselling, etc., for deliberately procured abortions.

Your petitioners humbly pray that the Senate, in Parliament assembled.

Should amend the Sex Discrimination Bill so as to prevent it from being used in support of deliberately procured abortions.

And your petitioners as in duty bound will ever pray.
