Mr KELVIN THOMSON (11:00 AM) —The parliamentary secretary is correct, we do support these amendments. The member for Wannon has indicated his interest in defending the government's record on general insurance issues. General insurance legislation is now before the House, and that provides a better framework in which to do that. Given that we did not have a $4 billion insurer collapse on our watch, I look forward to the debate with the member for Wannon when that legislation is debated in the House.

Amendments agreed to.

Bill, as amended, agreed to.

Ordered that the bill be reported to the House with amendments.
