Mr BEAZLEY (Leader of the Opposition) (3:21 PM) —Honourable members may know that the honourable member for Canning has been hospitalised. Our prayers are with her and we, of course, are totally confident of a full recovery on her part. I am grateful to those members who have volunteered to assist in the circumstances in which she finds herself with the work in her electorate.


Mr SPEAKER —I believe it would be appropriate—while unusual—given the circumstances, for the chair to endorse the sentiments expressed by the House in the case of both Minister Fahey and the member for Canning.
