Mr McMULLAN (2:48 PM) —My question is to the Minister for Aged Care. Minister, if, as you assert, it was correct to distribute yesterday the report to which my colleague the member for Barton referred, why then did the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency this morning refuse to provide a copy to the shadow minister for aged care and advise him that the report has not been made publicly available and that it would be made available in accordance with the time frame specified under the accreditation grant principles of 1999?

Mrs BRONWYN BISHOP (Minister for Aged Care) —I told you earlier that you had raised a legal matter. I will check it with the legal authorities. As I told you, my advice is that I was acting in accordance with the act.

Mr McMullan —I seek leave to table a fax from the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency to the shadow minister for aged care.

Leave granted.
