Mr COSTELLO (Treasurer) (3:10 PM) —Mr Speaker, I seek the indulgence of the chair to add to an answer.

Mr SPEAKER —The Treasurer may proceed.

Mr COSTELLO —Mr Speaker, I have just had some preliminary advice on the book Anzacs. I am informed that Anzacs was commissioned by Australia Post. It was distributed through Australia Post retail outlets and mail marketing. The recommended retail price was set by the marketing manager, who did not take account of the fact that there would be a reduction of sales tax on production. As a result of that, Australia Post has ordered the deal pricing to be removed.

Mr SPEAKER —The Deputy Leader of the Opposition will excuse himself from the House under the provisions of standing order 304A.

The member for Hotham then withdrew from the chamber.
