Mr MILTON —Is the Minister for Foreign Affairs aware that the Australian tour of three Nicaraguan women, including a member of the Nicaraguan Parliament, which was due to commence in Australia on 1 May is now in jeopardy at great cost to the tour sponsors because of inordinate delays experienced by the women in obtaining transit visas from the United States Embassy in Managua? Will he seek assistance from the United States Embassy in ensuring that no further delays occur in the granting of the visas to the women which are necessary for a change of flights in Los Angeles?

Mr HAYDEN —I am aware, because the honourable member told me before Question Time. I will make some inquiries of the United States authorities and I will get back to the honourable member.
