Mr DEPUTY SPEAKER (Mr Keogh) —Mr Speaker has received a letter from the Leader of the Opposition, (Mr Peacock) proposing that a definite matter of public importance be submitted to the House for discussion, namely:

The continuing failure of the Government to act against the ACTU's attack on the people of Queensland, and the consequences of this failure of leadership for Australia.

I call upon those members who approve of the proposed discussion to rise in their places.
