Senator McLAREN (South Australia) - I rise only to reply to a few of the remarks that Senator Hall has seen fit to make in endeavouring to denigrate the South Australian Labor Government in respect of education. Of course, Senator Hall naturally would say that education in South Australia was at its pinnacle when he was Premier. But when he mentioned that he did not tell the Senate that he had reason to sack his Minister for Education because of the mess she was making of the job, or because of her incompetence. I want to put it on record that when Mr Loveday was the Minister for Education -
