Senator TURNBULL (TASMANIA) I wish to ask a question of the Acting Leader of the Government in the Senate. Will he, for the benefit of us poor mortals on the back benches, inform us about what is going to happen in the future in regard to the sitting of this House? We, too, have commitments to make. It is obvious that the Senate cannot conclude its business tonight. I have 5 magnificent speeches to make yet.

Senator Georges - Long ones?

Senator TURNBULL (TASMANIA) Yes , one very long one.

The PRESIDENT Order ! The honourable senator will have an opportunity to raise this matter under the item on the notice paper concerning the placing of business.
