Senator MURPHY (New South WalesLeader of the Opposition) - We are debating the motion that the Senate do now adjourn, and without leave it would not be proper to move a motion of the character that has been indicated. It is the view of the Opposition that the important statement on the matter of foreign policy should be discussed.

Senator Wright - We can have a discussion on it tomorrow.

Senator MURPHY - I thank the Minister for his indication that the appropriate steps will be taken tomorrow to enable a debate to be had at some convenient time on the matter.

Question resolved in the affirmative.
