Senator HENTY - As far as I am aware, there is a ban on the export of Merino sheep from Australia. I have no information of any alteration of the ban. The transaction that the honorable senator has mentioned is, I presume, a normal business transaction between an exporter in Australia and an importer in another country. This is not a matter requiring Government approval. There is no prohibition of the export of Corriedale sheep.
