Senator COLLETT asked the Minister representing the Prime Minister, upon notice -

1.   Is there in existence a duly registered association known as the Commonwealth Temporary Clerks Association?

2.   If so, is it a fact that the Public Service Board has issued a direction that all persons temporarily employed in a clerical capacity in the Commonwealth Public Service must join this association if they desire to benefit from any later determination of the Public Service Arbitrator?

3.   If such a direction has been issued, does the Government approve of the action of the Public Service Board in this instance?
