Senator A J McLACHLAN (SOUTH AUSTRALIA) (Postmaster-General) . - This matter was extensively debated in another place. A thousand and one little cross currents obtrude themselves in a measure of this sort, and the Minister is surely entitled to an opportunity to consider the pros and cons of this amendment. It may not involve a large amount of money, but there are other considerations to be taken into account. I give -the honorable senator my assurance that his proposal will be considered. The Minister in the House of Representatives gave his definite assurance, which Mr. Holloway and those supporting him accepted.
