Senator HARDY (NEW SOUTH WALES) - I ask the Leader of the Senate whether the Minister who moves the second reading of the Constitution Alteration (Aviation) Bill, whichwill come before the Senate shortly, will deal in detail with the judgment given by the High Court, and refer particularly to the implied and extensive powers proposed to be given to the Commonwealth, which, in my opinion, will override the sovereign powers of the States?

Senator Sir GEORGEPEARCE.I shall bring the honorable senator's suggestion under the notice of the Assistant Minister (Senator Brennan), who will move thp second reading of the bill.
