Senator Sir GEORGE PEARCE (Western Australia) (Minister for External Affairs) [4.35]. - This amount was required for the equipment of a second theatre at the film censorship office, for the projection of new pictures. A corresponding saving was made under the new works vote of the' Customs Department.

A small theatre in which films may be screened is necessary, and this vote refers to it.
