Senator GRANT (NEW SOUTH WALES) - In view of the widespread desire on the part of listeners-in to hear the speeches of honorable senators delivered here and of the very scant attention paid to our speeches by the press of the Commonwealth, will the Leader of the Government in the Senate take steps to have all honorable senators' speeches broadcast?

Senator Sir WILLIAM GLASGOW - As it would appear from the reception given to the honorable senator's question by the majority of honorable senators that there is no desire on their part to have their speeches broadcast, the Government does not propose to do what he suggests.
