Senator MULLAN (QUEENSLAND) - I wish, through you, Mr. President, to ask Senator Ready a question. If, as seems probable, the Prime Minister, Mr. Cook, refuses to submit to Parliament, before we prorogue, the report of the Fruit Commission, will the honorable senator take into consideration the desirableness of communicating with the Chairman of that Commission with a view to having the report made public before the forthcoming elections?

Senator Millen - Is it competent for one honorable senator to ask another, who is not a Minister, a question which does not relate to business before the Senate?
