Mr Clyde Cameron (HINDMARSH, SOUTH AUSTRALIA) asked the Minister for Labour and National Service, upon notice:

(1) In his answer to part (1) of question No. 2037 (Hansard, 17th February, page 96) intended to imply that .the question was quoting out of context the Commission's reasons for not granting a 40-hour week to station hands employed under the Pastoral Award.

(2) If so, in what way did the question quote out of context the reasons given by the Commission, or. in which way did the question suggest that the reason referred to was the only reason given by the Commission for its decision.

Mr Snedden The answer to the honourable member's question is as . follows:

(1) and (2) In the answer I gave to the honourable member's question No. 2037, I was endeavouring to place in perspective what the two tribunals said in their decisions.
