Mr GORTON (Higgins) (Prime Minister) - Mr Speaker, I have no objection whatever to the suspension of Standing Orders, though I take it that the suspension of Standing Orders would be such that there would not be just one statement, but at least two.

Mr Whitlam - Yes.

Mr GORTON - I have no objection.

Mr SPEAKER -Is the motion seconded?

Mr Uren - I second the motion.
